Are you worried about what to say to your children about cancer? Cork ARC offer the CLIMB® Programme for children aged six to eleven years old whose parents or significant adults have a cancer diagnosis.

The aim of the CLIMB® Programme is to build a child's strengths and to enhance their abilities to cope with their feelings when cancer happens to their Mom or Dad. The title CLIMB® simply stands for: Childrens' Lives Include Moments of Bravery.

CLIMB® is based on mental health promotion. Through fun, art and play, children learn about cancer and express their feelings about it.

The next six week programme takes place Cork ARC in Cork city, commencing Tuesday 30th April, from 5.00 - 6.30 pm. While offered free of charge, booking is essential. To find out more and to book a place please contact Avril or Colette in Cork ARC on 021 427 6688 / 086 189 5803.

With thanks to our partners in the Ladies Gaelic Football Association and the CLIMB® Programme.
