These workshops will be presented over two sessions providing education and practical information on the prevention and management of lymphoedema after a cancer diagnosis.
As with all of our services, this two-part workshop is offered free of charge. The workshops will include a demonstration of exercises and self-massage and will be presented by Maedbh McSweeney, Director of the Lymph Clinic in Cork and Fiona Moriarty of Cork ARC. Maedbh is a clinical nurse specialist in lymphoedema and a medical integrative healthcare therapist. She has studied and practiced comprehensively in the field of integrative medicine and is the only certified Basic & Therapy 1 teacher of the original Dr. Vodder method (MLD) in Ireland.
