I thought I would throw this one in just to stir things up! Smoothies, touted by the industry as uber healthy, can be loaded with sugars, just like cordials and soft drinks. I know, I’m hearing you cry, ‘But these are fruit sugars, they must be good for us’ and yes you are right. In fact all natural sugars, had in the correct balance and amount, are generally ok.
I often cook this dish on a Sunday evening after being away for the day. It's quick and easy to prepare and cook. It beats the old 'take away' in terms of nutrition and flavour, in my opinion! It should only take a half an hour, less than the time the take away is delivered to your door and cheaper too!
