Catriona O'Mahony joins Cork ARC

We would like to extend a warm welcome to the newest member of the Cork ARC team - Catriona O'Mahony.

Catriona will work as Community Cancer Support Co-Ordinator, a new role for the organisation. Catriona will be responsible for the management and development of the West Cork Cancer Support House in Bantry and the Cancer Support Services Unit in Knocknaheeny, Cork City. It will also involve the establishment and development of new community based services and programmes of care for people living with cancer from the hospital into the community.

Catriona is a West Cork native who has been working as an oncology nurse for the last 9 years, both in hospitals and in the community.  Most recently she has been managing the Irish Cancer Society’s Daffodil Centre in the Bon Secours Hospital Cork.
