Sunday 22nd September is Ladies Mini Marathon Day! Let's take on this four mile race through Cork and help us support thousands of people in Cork city and county whose lives have been affected by cancer.
The big winners every year are the charities – together, you raise hundreds of thousands of euros for the great causes in your communities, and help these worthy charities continue in their good work.
We bet that most of your friends, family and colleagues have taken part in the Mini Marathon before, so let’s keep that tradition going & run for Cork ARC.
Now in its 38th year, the race has grown to become one of the biggest sporting participation events in the region, attracting thousands of participants each year, many of whom are fundraising for their chosen charity. Millions have been raised over the decades, benefitting many charities from Cork and further afield.
Every single step you make will have an impact on our work, and the supports we give to people dealing with cancer. We help relieve some of the distress that affects families by offering counselling and many complementary therapies and programmes.
Cork ARC works to remove the barriers to healthcare by giving cancer patients and their families the chance to use the service by simply dropping in or phoning the service, without any appointment.
Registration is really simple, so to run or walk for Cork ARC, just follow these three easy steps:
