Drop by Midleton's main street on Saturday 22nd July for an all-day spinathon in aid of Cork ARC's East Cork & West Waterford cancer support service.
To take part in an hour of spinning or to collect, please call Ciara on 087 0541311.
We hope that this event will be great fun for all, and a great way to spread awareness about our cancer support centre at 29 Friar Street in Youghal.
Our service for the communities of East Cork & West Waterford offers one to one support, telephone support, counselling, therapeutic massage and reflexology, to alleviate the stress associated with a cancer diagnosis.
Clare O'Neill, an experienced Oncology nurse who has worked with Cork ARC for many years, leads a team of professionally trained volunteer listeners, therapists and counsellors at our centre in Youghal. Our range of supports and therapies are designed to complement the medical model and aim to alleviate the stress associated with a cancer diagnosis.
All of our services are available free of charge, and people affected by cancer are warmly welcomed to drop in to Cork ARC at 29 Friar Street in Youghal on Wednesdays between 10.00am and 4.00pm. Telephone support is also available on 024 91654. No appointment or referral is needed, simply drop in, and all services are free of charge.
