Clonakilty Macra Drama Fundraiser

Clonakilty Macra na Feirme present a night of light entertainment for a good cause.

Macra groups from all over the Carbery region are gathering in Rossmore Theatre in Clonakilty at 8pm on Thursday 21st April to present two one-act plays and novelty acts, in aid of Cork ARC Cancer Support House in West Cork and Nurture Africa.

Clonakilty's club present Neil Harrison's 'Whodidit' and Ballinascarthy's Macra are to present 'This is a Play' by Daniel MacIvor. Tickets are €10 each and the night will start at 8pm.

For many years patients and relatives in West Cork have been travelling to Cork for our services and having Cork ARC Cancer Support in Bantry will take away this long journey.

Our centre at "The Bungalow", Gories, Bantry is open on Tuesdays between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. where we offer you a space to feel at ease and warmly welcomed.

Visitors may drop in without an appointment and will be met by one of our trained volunteer listeners. By appointment the following services are available with qualified therapists:

  • Counselling,
  • Massage 
  • Reflexology

You are welcome to join us, whenever you can, for an "Hour of Calm" every Tuesday at 11.30am.
