Having raised over €150,000 for charities to date, the Clonakilty Charity Cycle has had a significant impact on the West Cork community.
This year's cycle starts and ends at the Clonakilty GAA Sports Complex on Saturday 9th September. With two new scenic routes planned, cyclists will have the option of a 100km or a 50km course. The main charities bein supported in 2017 are Cancer Connect, CoAction, and Cope (Teach Cairde). Donations of €1,000 will also be made to: Cork ARC Cancer Support House, West Cork & South Kerry, Clonakilty Community Care, Cork Samaritans, Irish Wheelchair Association Clonakilty and Feileacain
We're very grateful to race organisers for choosing to support our service for the people of West Cork and South Kerry. We are open every Tuesday and Thursday at 'The Bungalow' in Goureebeg, just outside Bantry.
All services are available free of charge, and they include counselling, therapeutic massage and reflexology, information workshops, yoga, and pilates.
Registration for the race is now open at www.cloncycle.com
