Harmonise this festive season with the O'Neill Sisters, Bantry Folk Group and the Muintir Bháire Men's Choir at 'Carols by Candlelight' in the Westlodge Hotel, Bantry this December 20th.
The O'Neill Sisters - three sensational singing sisters hailing from Co. Kerry - will lead a night of carols and Christmas classics in aid of Cork ARC Cancer Support House and Cancer Connect. The O'Neill Sisters' Celtic heritage has always been at the forefront of their vocal. Their innate skill for three-part harmony is what has tied their exploration of sometimes-disparate genres together, and they have toured the world tour as lead vocalists with Women Of Ireland where they got to display their harmonies on an international stage.
Also performing on the night will be the Bantry Folk Group and the Muintir Bhaire Mens Choir, a newly formed choir suitable for men of all ages and singing ability.
Cork ARC Cancer Support House is a safe haven for people with cancer and their families, where you can find information, practical help and emotional support. Whatever stage of your diagnosis or treatment, they believe that no one should have to do it alone. If you are a cancer patient or someone close to you has cancer, they are here to offer you specialist professional support. They also offer bereavement support.
Cancer Connect is a free, flexible and confidential transport service to Cork hospitals from West Cork for people receiving cancer treatments (radiotherapy, chemotherapy etc.). The service runs from Castletownbere through Bantry and Goleen through Skibbereen to various Cork hospitals every day (Monday to Friday) at times to suit passengers. It is provided totally as a voluntary service by a team of Volunteer Drivers and is administered by West Cork Rural Transport.
Family tickets are priced at €20, adult tickets are €10, and teenager tickets are €7.
