Aghada Theatre Group present the stage adaptation of Charles Dickens' novel 'Oliver' from 17-20 March 2016 at Aghada Community Centre in aid of Cork ARC Cancer Support House, Midleton Community Hospital and the East Cork Parents and Friends of the Mentally Handicapped.
The all-singing all-dancing troupe from East Cork will tell the much loved story of orphan Oliver from the infamous "More" scene from the workhouse and his escapades with Nancy, Fagin and Bill Sykes. There will be 5 shows in all, with a matinee on Saturday 19th March.
Rachel Healy is leading the way as musical director, and volunteer members of the East Cork community from 5 to 70 are involved in the production. The group's facebook page is a hive of activity for all of you who wish to keep up to date with their progress and show your support!

AGHADA COMMUNITY CENTRE
Located in the heart of the village of Aghada, Aghada Community Centre provides a modern and up to date facility for hire to youth groups, community groups, charities and the local community. After a massive renovation, started in 2013, the centre now provides a large multi-function building including a large hall with a stage (ground floor) ideal for shows and theatre. The centre hosts many local groups and classes including the Aghada Centre Theatre Group.
