Bark for ARC

Champion Hunt jockey Davy Russell has officially launched Bark for ARC, a fundraising dog walk in aid of the Friends of Cork ARC Cancer Support House, East Cork & West Waterford.

Dog-owners and members of the community are warmly welcome to the Bark for ARC to be held in Youghal's Green Park on Sunday, 27th August 2017. 

Organised by the Friends of Cork ARC Cancer Support House East Cork & West Waterford, the fun dog walk is set to be a great day out for all the family. Funds raised will benefit the work of Cork ARC's service at 29 Friar Street in Youghal. Open every Wednesday from 10am to 4pm, the cancer support services available range from a drop in centre, telephone support, counselling, therapeutic massage and reflexology. Information workshops are being organised for the Autumn of 2017, and the service is available free of charge to all those affected by cancer in the community.

Entry is €10.00 and registration is open at www.barkforARC.ie. To help raise additional funds for the cause, sponsorship cards are available in Youghal from Coleman's Butchers, The Strand, Youghal; from Tom Scott's Shop on North Main Street, Youghal or from Tina O'Driscoll on 087 9127012.
