Our Pilates programme for men has been developed in response to feedback from male visitors at Cork ARC Cancer Support House.
Pilates is a low impact, gentle form of exercise which improves strength, flexibility and control. Our programme will be facilitated by Stephanie Corkery, Chartered Physiotherapist MISCP, who will offer exercises to aid in the rehabilitation and recovery of men after a cancer diagnosis. The programme will also support men to in establishing their health and wellbeing after a cancer diagnosis through a series of mat based exercises adapted by physiotherapists for patients who are recovering from injury and illness.
Booking is necessary as places are extremely limited. To find out more and reserve your place, all those interested are encouraged to contact Cork ARC on 021 427 6688. All of our services are free of charge.
