Our Friday morning service at the NICHE Community Health Project will resume on Friday 22nd September.
The aim of our weekly service in the NICHE Community Health Project is to provide practical help and support to those affected by cancer and their families, free of charge. We will take a break over the summer but will return in September.
At our service at NICHE, cancer patients and family members are welcome to:
- Drop in at any time between 10.00 am and 12.00 pm each Friday morning for support
- Speak with an experienced Oncology nurse, without an appointment
- Drop in for an hour of gentle excersize, meditation and relaxation between 10am - 11am
- Find out about & access a wide range of support services with Cork ARC
The service will be delivered by Catriona, an experienced Oncology nurse, our trained volunteer listeners and a trained facilitator. Cork ARC’s cancer support service has been warmly welcomed by the NICHE team, who are also available to provide further information.
We are very grateful to the HSE and NICHE for their support and enthusiasm for the work of Cork ARC.
