World Cancer Day

World Cancer Day, organized by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) and celebrated each year on 4 February, is an opportunity to rally the international community to end the injustice of preventable suffering from cancer.

Whoever you are, and wherever you are, you have the power to reduce the impact of cancer for yourself, the people you love and for the world.

At Cork ARC Cancer Support House, we work to reduce the burden of cancer through education, information and support.

We are making a difference by offering cancer supports free of charge, to communities in Cork city and county, and we see the impact of our work on a daily basis.

To get involved in this global day and support Cork ARC, please share our social media posts or any one of our services poster downloads below.

To support WCD's 'I am I will' campaign as a third party, you can create an image and / or social media post.

To continue making a difference in supporting Cork ARC, make a safe and secure donation on our website, get involved with us as a volunteer, organise a fundraising event or sign up for any of the challenges in the 2019 calendar - from the Bay Run in Bantry to the Cork City Marathon.
