The Cork ARC Ball inspired by Emma Crowley has raised €25,779.50 for the work of Cork ARC Cancer Support House.
The second Cork ARC black tie ball inspired by Emma Crowley was a very special night held at the Clayton Hotel, Silver Springs on Saturday 25th March 2017, and raised €25,779.50 in aid of the cancer support services of Cork ARC.
Emma has helped to highlight the care and support available free of charge at Cork ARC Cancer Support House for people with cancer and those caring for them, and her Facebook Blog posts show that support is an integral part of her journey with cancer.
Following her diagnosis of stage three hereditary bowel cancer in 2013, Emma has proved to be of great inspiration to her many followers through her humorous encouragement with the public around cancer screening, early detection and treatment.
All at Cork ARC are very grateful to Emma for highlighting our good cause. We greatly appreciate the generosity of all the companies and individuals who supported the ball. The committee would also like to sincerely thank Emma's family and friends who made many kind and generous donations. Thanks to all of you, Cork ARC Cancer Support House can continue to support cancer patients and those who care for them, free of charge.
