Aer Lingus Autumn Lunch

The 11th Annual Aer Lingus Autumn Lunch in aid of Cork ARC Cancer Support House took place recently in the Maryborough Hotel & Spa.

After a fabulous champagne reception, guests were treated to table gifts kindly donated by Yves Rocher, four course lunch with wine supported by the generous sponsorship of Barrett’s Butchers, Kinsale & PJ Guerin & Co. and a prize draw with the top prizes of the day being Business Class return tickets to Abu Dhabi with Etihad Airlines and return flights to London, Paris or Amsterdam with Aer Lingus.

During lunch, guests were serenaded by the Bravehearts Choir (a group of cancer survivors and supporters) and afterwards enjoyed music by Tony Manning.

The Aer Lingus lunch has raised over €175,000 for cancer patients and their families in Cork since 2003 – this significant support has helped Cork ARC continue to provide our services free of charge to all those in our community whose lives have been affected by cancer.

The dedicated committee comprises of past and present Aer Lingus cabin & ground crew: Monica Barrett, Marguerite Guerin, Rachel Fitzgibbon, Phil Bourke and Deirdre Whelan, along with Hilary Sullivan and Joanne McCarthy from Cork ARC Cancer Support House.

We wish to thank all those who sponsored or supported the day in any way.
